LifePatchNotes ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the LifePatchNotes mobile application and website collect, use, store, and safeguard your information. Our core principle is simple: your life data is yours. We design our systems to minimize data collection and maximize your control.

We collect only what is necessary to provide and improve LifePatchNotes: • Account information: email address and authentication credentials when you create an account or subscribe to LifePatchNotes Pro. • App usage data: anonymized feature usage, crash logs, and performance metrics to help us improve stability and user experience. • Device information: operating system version, app version, and device type for compatibility and diagnostics. • User-generated content: life events, notes, milestones, and changelog entries you create within the app. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

LifePatchNotes is built with a local-first architecture. By default, your life data is stored on your device using industry-standard encryption. Your entries, versions, and generated release notes remain under your control unless you explicitly choose to back them up or sync them across devices. Even when sync is enabled, data is encrypted in transit and at rest.

When you use AI-powered features such as persona narration, release-note generation, or poster creation, your input is sent to our secure AI providers for processing. We instruct our providers not to retain or train models on your data. No raw life events are used for model training by LifePatchNotes or its subprocessors.

You can delete your account and all associated cloud data at any time from the app settings. Upon deletion, we remove your data from our active systems within 30 days. Local data remains on your device until you uninstall the app or clear app storage.
